All of Mr. Warren's AP Literature classes will use this site as a daily log of activities and subjects taught.
Objective: The students will use today to catch up on any work that they need to finish before we start the Othello Unit tomorrow.
Note: Thanks SO much for being so amazing for the sub. It was unexpected to take two days off but coming back to such a positive note from the sub made me smile. You all deserve a break today.

Objective: The students will discuss yesterday's drama and then complete a MC Poetry Practice for points.
1. Discuss Mind the Gap PP
2. MC Practice: The Female Philosopher (I got 11/11 on this one so it should be easy).
3. Essay Tomorrow with the sub. Have a great weekend!
Objective: The students will complete reading and analyzing the last short drama.
1. Complete reading and analysis of "Mind the Gap."
2. Put together packet for Drama Unit.

Tomorrow: Two MC Practice Selections for points: One Prose and One Poetry.
Friday: Prose Essay (I am feeling a bit sick... cough.. cough...)
Objective: The students will discuss The Sandbox and then read a realistic play.
1. Get The Sandbox stamped
2. Discuss The PP for The Sandbox
3. Mind the Gap by Meredith Oakes (p. 1131 questions 1-7)
Objective: The students will complete an analysis of The Sandbox.
1. Get the book and one sheet of paper and a PEN! Must be in PEN so that I can read it if I want.
2. The Sandbox by Edward Albee (p. 1145-1151 questions 1,3-6,8-9)
Complete it today.
Objective: The students will have a nice chill day to discuss the chapter, then they will learn something totally new (at least it was to me) to help them read the first short play.
