The students will complete vocabulary assignment and know how to figure out a word's etymology using an electronic dictionary.

4. Go over exercises.
5. Etymology.

The students will know the denotation and connotation of vocabulry words from "Contents of a Dead Man's Pocket" and complete vocab exercise.

The students will know expectations of a narrative essay and begin writing the first paragraph of their essay.

6. Write Intro and save to Weblockers for sharing tomorrow.

The students will have examples of all six reading skills used in active reading and answer comprehension questions from the story.
