Objective:  The students will look over two essay prompts.

1.  Two essay prompt discussions.  Add the word "jargon" to your literary memory.

2.  Catcher Quiz Chapters 16-18

3.  Catcher Chapters 19-21

Objective:  The students will discuss their essays.

1.  Get out Catcher and discuss 13-15.

2.  Discuss the AP Essays and how to read the prompts.

3.  Read Catcher 16-18 and study guide.

Objective:  The students will discuss Catcher Chapters 10-12.

1. Catcher Quiz 10-12

Objective:  The students will work more with Catcher.

This is a hard week for sure.  I really like you all, but two hours is too long of a class even if you are great kids!  So here is the plan for the week:

Wednesday

Objective:  The students will work more with Catcher.

Objective:  The students will discuss Chapters 1-3 and work on analyzing the symbols.

Day 144

Objective:  The students will begin our last book.

1.  Catcher in the Rye Warren Notes

2.  Read Chapters 1-3 and complete study guide.

Quiz is tomorrow. 

 

Day 142

Objective:  The students will write a great Q3 Essay.

1.  Turn in Q3 Study Form (50 points)

2.  Q3 Essay (Period 1:  2015 Q3 Prompt             Period 5:   2017 Q3 Prompt) 

3.  Bring Catcher tomorrow 

Day 141

Objective:  The students will complete a Q3 Study Form  for Othello. 

Note:  Bring Catcher in the Rye by Wednesday. 

1.  Turn in Othello Packet.

2.  Complete Othello Q3 Study Form in GC.  Due tomorrow printed.

 

Day 140

Objective:  The students will finish the play.

1.  Finish reading the play.

2.  Type up the last notes.

3.  Finish the Study Guide

4.  Put together the packet.  Sorry you can't print in here.  My printer is sucking!  Due Monday.

1.  Act V Scene 1 Notes

2.  Read it.

3.  Act V Scene 2 Notes (1/2)

4.  Read it.

Get your copy of Catcher in the Rye by next week.  It's our last book.

Objective:  The students will complete reading of Act IV.

1.  Act IV Scene 2 Notes

2.  Read (13 minutes)

3.  Act IV Scene 3 Notes

4.  Read (6 minutes)

5.  Finish Study Guide
