Objective: The students will identify the tone of "The Pedestrian" and rewrite a paragraph from the story in a different tone.

1. Good Morning! Get lit book and folder.
2. Turn in signed (by someone: hopefully a parent!) Syllabus
3. WE #2Read article: Identify the problem stated and consequences of it. Discuss your life and how the "problem" applies to you. Is it diferent during summer than it is now"
4. Complete "The Pedestrian" assignment

Note: Discuss "Extra Credit"
