Day 23

Objective:  The students will begin Grendel after an introduction to the book and its allusions.

Day 22

Objective:  The students will write an amazing half essay on "Miss Brill."

1.  Get the prompt and take out two sheets on lined paper and a pen.

2.  Clear desks of all stuff (phones too)

3.  Write the essay.  One side only.  In pen.  Neat so that I can read it.

4.  Turn in Prose Packet 1 with cover sheet on top and everything in the order of the cover sheet.  Make sure that you name is on it.

Day 21

Objective:  The students will work together to discuss their analysis of "Miss Brill" in preparation for their first in class writing tomorrow.

Note:  Make sure you are signed up for an Office Hours class of your choice today!

1.  This week you MUST do the following (for 20 points on Friday OR no points):  Take a picture of the poster on the door for more info.

    1)  Make sure that you are signed up for College Board and decide what you will do as far as the test.

Day 20

Objective:  The students will complete analysis if the last story of the packet.

1.  Use today and the weekend to complete all parts of Perrine's Prose Packet 1.  It is due on Tuesday.

Thank you to those who brought it to my attention that the students couldn't sign up for or make changes to their Tuesday Office Hour Session today.  The system was set up improperly by the company, but it is now fixed.  

Here is when students can sign up for each session.

• TUESDAY OFFICE HOURS: The Thursday before at 11:20am until 10:30 on Tuesday (the day of)

• THURSDAY OFFICE HOURS: The Tuesday before at 11:20am until 10:30 on Thursday (the day of)

Please tell your students to sign up before they leave today if they haven't already done so!

Objective:  The students will complete their second group MC Practice.

3.  "Miss Brill" reading and TTSTCANDI:  This is due complete on Monday if you are sick tomorrow.
