Objective: The students will create a solid thesis statement and outline for an essay on Eveline.
1. Get into groups at desks.
2. Read the prompt and how to create a solid thesis. If you follow this simple formula, your thesis will be two-three sentences. This is your intro paragrapgh.
3. Together with group, each one of you will complete an outline for the essay. What would be your three (or four) body paragraphs. What would you write in each paragraph. Use bullets.
