Good Morning!

Objective:  The students will know what a theme is and how to identify it in a piece of lit.

1.  Allusion Notes

2.  AP Essays:
          1) Prose: Usually a very short story or a small piece of a novel.
          2)  Poetry:  The entire poem
          3) Open Response:  You can choose the novel you want to write about.

          The open response will always be about the theme, but the poem and the prose may ask you to write about something else.
