Objective: Students will see the video adaptation of the anecdote "Two Kinds" from The Joy Luck Club, then complete the assignment on character analysis.

2. Put outside book on your desk for 5 points EXTRA CREDIT. Once I approve book, you CAN NOT CHANGE unless I approve the new book.
3. Complete reading of "Contents..."
4. "Contents..." Assignment
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!! It would be smart to finish your book while you lay by the pool, etc...

a) What does Obama's summer reading list reveal about him?
b) List the last 5 boks that you ahev read (or are reading). What does your list say about you?
3. Begin "Contents." Read for 22 minutes with the CD.
4. I will check your outside book tomorrow!
