Objective: The students will earn 100 points for editing a peer's
paper. They will find all errors with the paper so that when it is
turned in to be graded by Mr. Warren, it is perfect.
1. Get peer edit sheet.
2. Exchange papers. Everyone who has a paper here needs to edit a paper. If you don't have a paper here, you can't edit... and you can't get 100 points.
3. EDIT EDIT EDIT.
Tomorrow: Turn in 1) Final Perfect Draft.
2) Edited Copy (today's draft) with Peer Edit Sheet stapled to it.
3) All sources used and cited.
We begin our Caesar unit tomorrow.

c) All sources that you cited. I want to see that you didn't plagiarize or use wikipedia.

USE TIME WISELY!!!
Objective: The students will write the most important part of the research paper.
Note: Tomorrow, the Superintendent of the district will be in class. I NEED all of you on task!
1. It is my goal for you to complete this entire paper in class. I have given 2 weeks of class time for it (something that I completed myself in about 1 1/2 hours).
2. So I get a little pissed off when I see kids doing math, playing games and other stuff and NOT working on this assignment.
3. I want great papers. I am giving you time to write GREAT papers. I am going to grade them as if I gave you a lot of time to do GREAT papers.
You get my gist?

1. Get your folders. Put your outside book on your desk. Today you get points for having it approved. Go over 100 points Active Reading requirements. (highlights, comments, chapter end notes, character page)
