Write Your Intro

Objective:  The students will see an example of, and then write an anecdotal intro for their research paper.

1.  Get your folders.  Put your outside book on your desk.  Today you get points for having it approved.  Go over 100 points Active Reading requirements.  (highlights, comments, chapter end notes, character page)
2.  Get the sample intro handout:

3.  Read it, then discuss.
4.  Write your own anecdotal intro (in MLA format) for your paper.  This will be due on Thursday for 50 points OR NO POINTS.  Typed, edited, printed, and ready to share via the computer.

Homework:  Start reading your outside book.
