Objective: The students will use the theme of The Secret Lion and make a theme book project that will be worth 200 points.

1. The Secret Lion handout.
2. Discuss project. You will have until the end of the period Friday to complete it. Use your time wisely. It should be very neat and well thought out.

Objective: The students will show competence in Active Reading and knowledge of outside lit analysis by turning in the Book report and answeing oral questions .

This is going to be kind of a weird day. Not teacher directed at all.

1. Get your folder only.
2. Have your outside book and book report ready.
3. When called up for oral question, bring it all up.
4. Get your District Writing Test, hole punch, and put into folder. Pass all other work back.

Complete "Waters to Babylon" if not done yet for tomorrow.
