Day 128

Objective:  The students will type some notes and take a two part MC Practice for points.

Note:  Since so many of you are absent today, I have to adjust.

1.  Type the Act I Scene 3 Continued Notes for Monday reading.

2.  AP MC Practice Number 6 in College Board.  There is a Prose selection and a Poem Selection for total of 20 points.

 

Day 127

Objective:  The students will read more of Act I.

Note:  Yesterday, I had issues with students on their phones while reading.  I have tried to treat you like adults, but that's not working.  So, since you can't act like adults, I will take off 10 points from your "Participation grade" each time I see you with a phone while we are reading.

Day 126

Objective:  The students will begin Othello.

1.  Get lit book and your computer out and paper.

2.  Warren Othello Intro Notes (handwritten)

3.  Act I Scene 1 Notes:  Handwritten or Typed (if typed, you must type them yourself.  NOT copy and paste from some other student who typed them.  I will check this each day as well as check when turned in)

4.  Read/Listen to Act I Scene 1

Day 125

Objective:  The students will begin the Othello Unit.

1.  Othello Cover Sheet

2.  Outline Chapter 3.  For those of you who skim, I am gonna quiz you tomorrow.

3.  College Board:  AP MC Practice 5:  Raisin in the Sun drama

 

Day 124

Objective:  The students will wrap up the mini-drama unit.

Great News!!!!!  I finished grading all of the Sophomore's Research Papers!!

1.  Complete lit terms.

2.  Put packet in order.

3.  Turn in for points.

4.  If you did not take the MC Practice in College Board on Friday, do it now.  I am putting in points today. 

The sophomore class officers have been working really hard on the Prom Fashion Show.  The show is this Friday, March 7 at 6:30 pm and tickets are on sale now at the bit.ly/mlkwolfstore. Tickets are $7 pre-sale and $10 at the door.  Our juniors and seniors are showcasing fashion looks from local boutiques, various shops and designers.   We are also including a few show stopping looks by a New York designer for the students to wear.
