Day 139

Objective:  The students will show that they know Othello by passing the MC Test.

Note:  If you have any MC Practices to make up, they must be done by Wednesday.  I don't want to have to look up scores until the end of the year!

1.  Othello MC Test

2.  Tomorrow Othello Q3 Essay.  Period 1 and 2 will have the same prompt.  Period 4 will have a separate one.  Students who are absent will have a third choice.

Welcome Back!  Hope you are ready to finish the year strong.  Lots of "new" rules that were sent out in an email:

  • Please only let one student out of your classroom at a time, no matter what the period.  Students do not need to be out of class in pairs or triplets.

  • Please remember that the G Bathrooms are ALWAYS open from 8:40 am - 3:15 pm.  We have these bathrooms monitored at all times.  We try and leave D and E open but we have a group of boys and a group of girls that will all push their way into the bathroom to VAPE releasing the odor / smoke everywhere.
  • As a reminder - NO ONE should be out and about without a pass at any time.  If they are leaving your classroom, they should have their phone with the restroom pass, they should have a pass that was sent to them, or a pass from the teacher.  Students who do not have passes will be sent back / escorted back to the classroom for a pass.  Please operate on the basis that a student who does not have a pass does not have permission to be out of class.
  • We will be putting several students on lockdown for the end of the school year to try and encourage them to get their work done.  For these students to leave your classroom, you will need to call a campus supervisor for them to have an escort.  These are students who are wandering the campus and meeting up with friends or just not making it to class.
