Good Morning Class! I bet you miss me huh!? Please make sure to respect the sub and follow all class rules.
Today we start Chapter 3 of our Literature Anthology. Our first assignment is in the interactive reader. It is titled "By the Waters of Babylon" and you need to do all margin activities as well as end activities. If it is not finished in class, do it as homwork.
Have a great day! Mr. Warren

Today we did a group activity after CAT6 #8 which focused on Denotations and Connotations of words. Then we saw a clip from the movie called "Mystery, Alaska" (good movie, watch it sometime!). The group activity will be completed tomorrow with the presentations of group poems and posters.
Remember book reports are due November 2 and I can't take late papers!

Periods 1 and 4
Today we discussed the proper format for the book report and handed out a sample of what it looks like. They are due on November 2, 2004 and remember that there will be no late reports accepted.
We also took an in class test on the reading of "Everyday Use" and it is due on Monday. If you did not complete it in class, it is due on Monday.
Have a great weekend! Warren
