Objective: Students will read story and pre-write essay for the District Writing Test. This is 1/2 of your final for the semester. SO WRITE WELL!!

1. Get both the writing prompt and story.\
2. Read the prompt completely.
3. Read the story. Active Read if necessary. Try to figure out a theme for it as you read.
4. Pre-write your essay.
5. Turn in both sheets. You can't take them home.
