Objective: Students will write their first two paragraphs for their argumentative essay.
1. Get your lit books and folders
2. TFA Chapter 7-8 Review. What was the 2nd BIG MISTAKE?
3. Discuss Writing Prompt and write the thesis that you are going to prove. "Yes, but so"
4. Write the intro (follow the inverted triangle format for a perfect intro)
5. Write the first body paragraph (what paragraph would be most logical to put first?)
Homework: No new reading, but fill out Plot chart on back of questions. 6 Events with 2-3 statements about each event (for full credit).
