Presentations Day 2
Objective: The students will continue Nick Adams presentations to complete this unit.
1. Yesterday's presentations in both classes were very good. There were only a few mistakes and each class has discussed them and shown how to clean them up. So grading on this next batch of presentations will be harder if the same errors are made.
Homework: Relax! We start Grendel next week. I spent five hours researching and putting together a brilliant intro presentation for you.
If you want to buy the book and close read it, it's 25 extra credit points. Grendel by Gardner.

I did me some grading this weekend!! During the Oregon game... which they lost... so I took out my frustrations on your essays!

Project Day 1
Objective: The students will work collaboratively to make a presentation on one of the summer reading stories.
1. Get your old packet and all graded papers out of the folder on the back shelf.
2. Put your new packet together in the order that is printed on your cover sheet.
3. Group Midterm: We will work in class on this for four days. Presentations next Thursday and Friday.
If I see a phone used for a non educational way at any time during these work days (Netflix, Snapchat or any of the other crap that you waste your time with while you should be working), your entire group gets a ZERO). Yes I am still pissed.
