Objective: The students will practice Q2 AP Essay Prompt.
Look at the returned work folder! Out of control. Will be tossed tomorrow morning.
1. Grab the handout.
Read the prompt. Break it down. Read the excerpt. Write and intro and then outline your paper in 10 minutes.
2. Frankenstein reading check and research check: 50 points.
3. Continue Projects.
Objective: The students will walk through a MC Practice with me and then complete projects.
We will do a short mini lesson each day of the time we have left in the semester before I have to leave. Then you will work on projects.
Your essays from "Mush" are complete and in the returned work folder. Get them.
1. MC Practice: You will do this along with me to see how I would do it. Get a pen out so that we can mark up the handout. I will post the link once I make a copy for those at home or on vacation.
2. Projects: Tomorrow is the second close reading check and notes check up to Chapter 17.

Objective: The students will in groups discuss Chapters 12-13
1. Discuss: Chapter 12: What the monsters notices about the family. Where/how they each work. Their sadness and reasons for it. The monsters growing affection for them. His discovery of speech. His seeing his reflection. His desire to be their "lap dog"
Chapter 13:Spring and Safie. His education. His discovery of a UT (paragraph 16). What knowledge makes him feel. And he discovers that he lacks in life.
2. Projects.
