Objective: The students will complete a poetry MC Practice and the play analysis.
I have some Letters of Rec to write and some research papers to grade, so you all need to be quiet and complete the following:
1. Mind the Gap reading and questions from cover sheet. Due Monday even if you are home sick. You have the book at home.
2. College Board: 15 point/question MC Practice on a cool poem.
Objective: The students will go over Drama Chapter Outlines and yesterday's amazing play.
1. Get out the two chapter outlines and the questions from yesterday. Stamps.
2. Go over my Power Points for all three.
3. Two Day Assignment: Mind the Gap reading and questions. If you are absent tomorrow it's still due on Monday for stamp.
Objective: The students will know what the Theater of the Absurd is and its purpose.
Note: I will stamp the two outlines tomorrow. Hope they are done.
1. Get out cover sheet: Add "Notes: Theater of the Absurd"
2. Notes on the play that we will read.
3. Read the play out loud: I need four readers who read great and want 5 extra credit points.

In W.B. Yeats' poem, "When You Are Old," the speaker reflects on the passage of time and the nature of love. In a clear and thoughtful essay, discuss how Yeats uses literary devices such as imagery, tone and structure to convey the speaker's emotional journey to express the poet's purpose.
2. Analyze "What lips my lips have kissed..." for discussion and writing.
Objective: The students will go over outlines and analyze a new poem.
1. Get out your outlines for stamps. No unstamped work will be in this last packet.

Introduction: Our second visitor from CBU is here today to start her 30 hours of observation. Her name is Ms. Heavenlee and she is here to see my best class in action.

Today I have to teach myself the new digital AP Multiple Choice part of the test so that I can assign some "tests" for you to get practice.
Tomorrow: Bring Charged Computers. You will take an MC Practice for real points on the computer.
