Senior Field trip tickets on sale through Monday. Monday is the LAST day to buy your ticket and get on a bus. We have to purchase the tickets on Tuesday since it is a group purchase. Please remind seniors, they are not allowed to just show up to Knott's. If someone does this, said senior will not be permitted to participate in future senior events (event is inclusive of graduation). There will be no refunds on any future paid events for making poor choices.

2. If you do not have a score for yesterday's College Board AP MC Practice in Aeries, then do it today. Today is the last day I will put scores in Aeries.

1. Q2 Essay: Remember, write about what you know, don't try to write on things that you really don't know. Don't try to get too deep if you can't. You just need a 4. Organize. Have a thesis. Mention the key words. Have solid topic sentences. Have text evidence. Analyze it. Use the formula.

1. Catcher Quiz and discussion Chapters 16-18
2. Read Chapters 19-21 and complete study questions.

1. I am done grading first period's Q3 Othello Essay and I am seriously perplexed by some of you. I wonder what you have been listening to over the last 7 months. Not me obviously.
Yesterday's prompt:
Many works of literature contain a character that intentionally deceives others. This character's dishonestly may be intended to help or to hurt. Such a character, for example, may choose to mislead others for personal safety, to spare someone's feelings, or to carry out a crime.
Choose a novel or play in which a character deceives other. Then in a well written essay, analyze the motives for that character's deception and discuss how it contributes to the meaning of the work as a whole.
Do not merely summarize.

Objective: The students will complete a Q3 Essay using Othello as the source.
Note: Get Catcher in the Rye by next week.
1. Turn in Othello Packet. Make sure that you have 15 Scenes highlighted for easy counting and all blanks filled in.
